This box, handpainted in the famous Palekh style, depicts the scene from the folktale, “Sleeping Beauty ”. The palette is based on smooth yellow, green, blue and brown colors. The black background and gold paint add intricate details that bring out the true beauty of Russian lacquer miniatures. This box is a classic example of the traditional Palekh style. The box is hand made out of papier-mâché and golden filigree ornament frames the composition. The painting is protected with layers of clear lacquer. Signed by the artist.

BuyRussianGifts gladly accepts returns of unworn, unused, undamaged or defective merchandise for full refund or exchange within 14 days of original purchase. Item should be returned in the original packaging. Return shipping will be paid by customer and must be traceable (i.e tracking number).
The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable
If customer is willing to exchange original purchase for the same dollar amount or more, no additional shipping charge will be incurred. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment.
