This is a piece of natural butterscotch Baltic amber fitted in an elegant and modern sterling silver setting. This 925 sterling silver setting has been made for this particular stone which makes it original and unique.
And yes, that dark dot is a natural imperfection, it could be a small piece of bark from the tree this fossil originated from.
